We specialize in high-end, custom door and storefront installations for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout Manhattan and the five boroughs.
We are seeking a highly experienced Glazier & Storefront Installer to join our installation team. This is a full-time, long-term role for a skilled and motivated professional who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
Please Note:
You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in glass installation and architectural metal.
This is not a training position. If you do not meet this requirement, please do not apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, install, and secure glass panels, architectural metal, and glazing systems for both residential and commercial projects.
- Install a wide range of products, including custom doors, storefronts, glass enclosures, interior glass, and bullet-resistant systems.
- Install metal framing for glass panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and trades to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Perform repairs and replacements of glass structures as needed.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including cutters, drills, grinders, and lifting systems.
- Maintain job site cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of materials and time and ensure efficient use of company resources.
- Demonstrate expert craftsmanship and attention to detail in every installation.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in glazing and architectural metal.
- Proficiency with glass types, curtain walls, storefronts, shower systems, and interior glazing.
- Strong ability to interpret construction documents and solve field-related installation challenges.
- OSHA certification.
- Valid, clean driver's license — you will operate company vehicles.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. alone; heavier units require "team-lift"
- Comfortable working outdoors and from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and complex elevated locations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $83,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
