Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pressman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing processes, particularly Sheetfed offset printing, and will be responsible for producing high-quality printed materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent color management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain printing presses to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
Set up jobs by preparing screens, inks, and substrates according to specifications.
Monitor the printing process to ensure adherence to quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Collaborate with team members to fabricate components as needed for various projects.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery such as forklifts and CNC equipment.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards of excellence.

Skills

Proficiency in Sheetfed offset printing techniques and processes.
Experience with Heidelberg XL series Presses a plus, but not a must.
Familiarity with LED/UV and non-porous substrates, but not a must.
Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control measures.
Knowledge of G7 principles and practices a plus, but not a must.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
