About the Role

As a Precision CNC Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing success by transforming raw materials into high-quality components. You will leverage your technical expertise in CNC programming and mechanical systems to drive production efficiency and ensure every part meets rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

Execute complex machining operations on CNC lathes and mills using Fanuc-based control systems to achieve precise tolerances.
Develop and refine CNC programs via CAM software to optimize cycle times and improve overall manufacturing output.
Analyze technical blueprints and GD&T specifications to verify that all finished components align with engineering requirements.
Perform meticulous setups of fixtures and tooling, utilizing precision measurement tools like micrometers and bore gauges to guarantee accuracy.
Execute proactive machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain a high-performing production environment.
Implement lean manufacturing methodologies to streamline workflows, minimize material waste, and uphold superior safety standards.
Maintain comprehensive production logs and quality documentation to ensure full traceability of all manufactured parts.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proven professional experience operating and setting up CNC milling and turning machinery.
Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming languages.
Strong ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T standards.
Demonstrated skill in using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
Solid understanding of mechanical principles and ability to perform routine machine adjustments.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CAD/CAM software suites such as SolidWorks.
Familiarity with specialized techniques including Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM).
Background in plastics injection molding or industrial welding processes.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
