Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise and passion! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential, commercial, or public landscapes through hands-on work and technical knowledge. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your skills in landscape maintenance and equipment operation, will help create beautiful, functional environments that delight clients and communities alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your horticultural skills while contributing to vibrant outdoor spaces.

Duties

Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor environments
Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery safely and efficiently
Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
Maintain safety standards by adhering to all safety protocols during outdoor work and equipment operation
Assist with landscape design projects involving hardscape features like pathways, patios, or retaining walls

Qualifications

Proven outdoor work experience with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping practices
Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, lawn care equipment, and irrigation systems
Ability to identify various plants, pests, and diseases relevant to horticulture; familiarity with pesticide management is a plus
Knowledge of safety procedures for operating landscaping machinery and handling chemicals responsibly
Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions
Excellent attention to detail in maintaining the health and appearance of landscaped areas
Valid experience in tree trimming, gardening, groundskeeping equipment operation, or hardscape installation is highly desirable
