Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities

Perform patient intake assessments, including recording vital signs and collecting medical histories with accuracy and sensitivity
Assist healthcare providers with dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or hospital-based procedures and examinations
Support patient service activities such as medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support during emergencies
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring precise documentation of medical records and procedures
Conduct clinical tasks like specimen collection, ICD coding for diagnoses, and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries, explaining treatments, and supporting patient comfort throughout visits
Support medical office management through scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating patient flow efficiently

Requirements

Valid licensure as an LPN or certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
Proven experience in outpatient or inpatient settings; dermatology, emergency care, or hospital experience preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding practices
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems and medical documentation standards
Ability to perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and intake assessments accurately
Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) or trauma center experience are advantageous
Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including geriatrics and internal medicine patients
Familiarity with hospital environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or PICU settings is a plus
Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and supporting clinic operations efficiently
