Full Job Description

Description

This position is a guest facing position to answer incoming calls and gree and direct guest inquiries. Professional phone etiquette and customer service interaction is a must. Properly receive and document funds from donors as trained. This position assists with tasks assigned as needed across teams, answering directly to the Office Professional. Ability to prioritize is helpful.

Examples of Duties

Duties Include:

Receive and sort daily mail
Assist with processing donations received
As assigned, assist with preparing mailings, nametags/seating for events, swag bags.
Assist, as assigned, with data research and data input projects where accuracy and attention to details is required.

Typical Qualifications

Education:

Marketing or Communications majors are preferred, but all majors are considered.

Experience:

Customer service experience preferred. Basic computer, office machine and word processing skills needed. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google documents. Ability to work independently and as a team. Cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, promptness and dependability are a must.

Supplemental Information

Working Hours and Days:

Allowable hours worked between 8am - 5pm M-F
No more than 20 hours a week

Special Instructions:

Full-time staff & 12-month faculty benefits-eligible position: Benefits include competitive salary; health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD & D, long-term disability; 3 weeks paid vacation per year; 3 weeks of accrued sick leave per year; 13 paid holidays; retirement; and generous education assistance for an employee, spouse and dependent children taking classes at UCM.

9-month faculty benefits-eligible position: Benefits include competitive salary; health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD & D, long-term disability; 3 weeks of accrued sick leave per year; 13 paid holidays; retirement; and generous education assistance for an employee, spouse and dependent children taking classes at UCM.

Part-time benefits-eligible positions: Benefits include generous education assistance for the employee.

Temporary, adjunct, student employment, or graduate assistant positions: Benefits are not included.
