Certified Medication Technician (CMT) - Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg

Part-time Day

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, a skilled nursing facility committed to delivering high-quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

About the Role:

As a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and performing other essential tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where our Certified Medication Technician (CMT) will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Perform vital sign checks and monitor residents' medical conditions
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and storage area
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience
Demonstrate a commitment to resident-focused care and adhere to our facility's core values

Requirements:

Current certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between facilities (if necessary)
