Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, professional Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy pediatric and orthodontic dental practice. The ideal candidate has prior dental front office experience and is confident using Dentrix Ascend for scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and patient communication. This role serves as the first point of contact for families, so a warm, organized, and service-oriented personality is essential. Responsibilities include managing a high-volume schedule, checking patients in and out, coordinating treatment appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate insurance and clinical records. Candidates must be comfortable handling pre-authorizations, claims follow-up, and explaining treatment plans and financial options to parents. Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced pediatric environment are required. We value team players who communicate clearly with doctors and clinical staff to keep the day running smoothly. Prior experience in a pediatric and/or orthodontic setting is strongly preferred. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within a supportive, family-focused practice.
