Logistics & Transportation Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Attleboro, MA
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually
Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for the Company's Annual Incentive Compensation Plan (AICP).
Radius Recycling is seeking a Logistics & Transportation Business Intelligence Analyst to support our transportation and logistics organization. Reporting to the VP of Transportation & Logistics, this role is responsible for transportation analytics, Business Intelligence reporting, freight market analysis, and executive-level reporting that supports operational and strategic decision-making across the company.
This role is ideal for a data-driven analyst who understands transportation operations and enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful business insights. The successful candidate must be able to turn transportation and financial data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and develop reporting and presentations used by executive leadership
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, KPIs, data visualizations, and other Business Intelligence solutions that support transportation and logistics operations
- Analyze transportation, operational, financial, and market data to identify trends, forecast performance, evaluate costs, and support strategic decision-making
- Monitor shipment volumes, forecasts, utilization, capacity, and transportation performance metrics across the business
- Partner with Regional Logistics Managers and business stakeholders to standardize reporting, improve visibility, and develop meaningful performance measurements
- Track and analyze freight market conditions across truck, rail, and export transportation and provide regular market updates to leadership
- Prepare executive reporting, presentations, market outlooks, quarterly business reviews
- Support transportation sourcing initiatives, RFP analysis, and other strategic projects
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a data-driven position or related field
- Experience analyzing transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight, operational, or business data
- Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day direction
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
- Experience supporting transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight, manufacturing, recycling, distribution, or similar operations
- Experience with forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Familiarity with truckload, rail, container, or other transportation-related markets and performance metrics

Our ideal candidate combines strong Business Intelligence expertise with a practical understanding of transportation and logistics operations. They understand how freight markets, shipment volumes, capacity, utilization, transportation spend, and operational performance influence one another and can translate data into actionable business recommendations.
They have experience working with modern analytics and reporting tools and are highly proficient in Excel, comfortable working with Business Intelligence platforms, and capable of analyzing large datasets to identify meaningful trends and opportunities. Experience with tools such as Power BI, Databricks, and SQL will help candidates quickly contribute in this role.
They are naturally curious, highly analytical, comfortable working independently, and capable of creating reporting and presentations that support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
