Insulation Foreman / Lead
Greener World Solutions is looking for motivated and experienced Insulation Foremen / Leads to join our growing team.
We are looking for individuals with insulation experience who can either step directly into a foreman or lead role, or who are ready to grow into one through our apprenticeship and foreman development program.
This is a hands-on field leadership position. The right candidate will work alongside the crew, help maintain production and quality, and develop or demonstrate the skills needed to lead insulation projects safely and efficiently.
Types of Insulation Work
Our crews perform a variety of residential, commercial, and specialty insulation applications, including:
- Fiberglass batt insulation
- Poly / vapor barrier installation
- Batt and poly systems
- Blown-in fiberglass insulation
- Blown-in cellulose insulation
- Spray foam insulation
- Air sealing and related insulation preparation work
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside insulation crews in the field
- Coordinate daily work activities, materials, and production goals
- Install insulation systems according to project requirements
- Ensure insulation is installed correctly and meets quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Train and assist less-experienced installers
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and field issues with project management
- Inspect completed work and correct quality issues before leaving the jobsite
- Operate insulation equipment safely and properly
- Keep projects productive and on schedule
Qualifications
- Previous insulation installation experience preferred
- Experience with fiberglass batt and poly installation strongly preferred
- Experience with blown fiberglass and/or cellulose insulation preferred
- Spray foam installation experience is a plus
- Previous foreman or crew lead experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lead, communicate, and work effectively with a crew
- Strong work ethic and attention to quality
- Willingness to learn additional insulation systems and leadership responsibilities
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, attics, crawl spaces, and other construction environments
- Ability to lift and handle insulation materials and equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to job locations as required
Leadership & Training Opportunity

Candidates with strong insulation experience who have not previously worked as a foreman or lead may be considered for our apprentice / foreman development program. We provide training and field experience to help qualified individuals develop leadership, production management, quality-control, and crew-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of insulation or related construction experience
- Previous foreman or crew lead experience
- Spray foam installation experience
- Experience operating blow-in insulation equipment
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certifications
- Experience reading plans, job specifications, and work scopes
