Full Job Description

Support the agency’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan philosophy

Manage all responsibilities based on the agency's mission, using individual choice, and all appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations

Conduct oneself in a way that reflects the highest standards of professional courtesy and ethical practices to people served, staff, guardians, families, and all outside contacts

As a mandated reporter, ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.

Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Complete all mandatory documentation accurately, honestly, and on time, and or as set by departmental/agency protocol or procedures.

Verify and ensure your payroll timecard is accurate by Monday before noon for the previous week worked.

Complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all required annual training refreshers.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, data analysis and progress notes, according to agency, program, or funding entities’ expectations.

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behavior, with supervisor approval.

Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on assessment findings, with supervisor approval.

Provide ongoing support and training to DSP staff and other team members as needed.

Collaborate with parents, guardians, ISCs, interdisciplinary team and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach to behavior support.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans through observation, data collection and analysis.

Adjust and modify intervention strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes at least twice per year, with supervisor approval.

Achieve or exceed monthly direct service requirements.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall treatment planning process.

Meet regularly with supervisor, with frequency subject to change based on experience level and need of both clinician and supervisor.

Attend meetings as directed

Serve on committees/task forces as assigned

Tasks directed by the supervisor

A 4-year degree in psychology, human service, or other related fields is required

1500 hours supervision under BCBA, Psychologist or related supervised work.

+1-years’ experience in the field of ABA preferred

RBT or BCaBA certificate preferred

1 year experience in the social service field and at least 1 year in a mental health program preferred

1+ years’ experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred

Knowledge of Medicaid preferred

Desire and ability to work under supervision and cooperatively within a team

Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance

Ability to multitask

Must communicate effectively

Capable of proofreading printed and computer work

Effective time management skills

Professional interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong ethical conduct, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and standards of practice in behavior analysis

Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including continuing education

Frequent walking and sitting

Regular reaching, grasping, and standing

Other physical activities related to an office environment

Operates general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Work may occur in the following settings: Home, Office, Classroom, Group Homes, or Community

Be a team player with a positive attitude who supports a positive culture towards all stakeholders

Provide high-quality, person-centered Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Level 2 ABA clinician supports skill development, behavior reduction, and increased independence across home, community, and/or clinical settings, while promoting dignity, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes aligned with each individual's goals.
