STARTING PAY CAN BE RAISED BASED ON LEVEL OF PRIOR EXPERIENCE.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for clients to make informed financial decisions.

Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Prepare and maintain regulatory reporting in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
Utilize software such as QuickBooks for efficient accounting.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Implement accrual accounting practices to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably as a Staff Accountant or similar position.
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and regulatory reporting practices.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to stakeholders.
