About Inox Solar Americas
Inox Solar Americas LLC operates a large-scale solar module manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina, producing high-performance Gamma Series Monofacial and Vega Series Bifacial PV modules built on advanced N-Type technology, with approximately 3 GW of annual production capacity. The company is part of Inox Clean Energy Ltd and the INOXGFL Group, a global renewable energy platform, and represents one of the larger recent investments in domestic U.S. solar manufacturing. We're building the finance and accounting function to match the scale of that growth — starting with this role.
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Manager will own the full accounts payable function for a high-volume manufacturing operation — from vendor invoice receipt through payment — while building the controls, reporting, and team structure needed to support a rapidly scaling facility. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll manage a growing AP team, partner closely with Procurement and Operations on a large and varied vendor base (raw materials, capital equipment, contractors, and both domestic and international suppliers), and be a key contributor to month-end close and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle AP process: invoice receipt, three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice), GL coding, approval routing, and payment execution
- Supervise, train, and develop AP staff; scale the team's processes as hiring and production volume grow
- Ensure timely, accurate vendor payments while managing cash disbursement timing and capturing early-payment discounts where available
- Own vendor master data integrity, W-9 collection, and 1099 reporting compliance
- Manage payments to both domestic and international vendors, including wire transfers and multi-currency considerations tied to our global supply chain
- Audit employee expense reports for submission to payroll for reimbursement.
- Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger and support the monthly close process
- Design, document, and enforce AP internal controls; support SOX-readiness and internal/external audit requests
- Partner with Procurement and Operations to resolve PO discrepancies, pricing issues, and vendor disputes
- Build and maintain key vendor relationships, particularly for critical raw-material and equipment suppliers
- Prepare AP aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and KPIs (e.g., invoice cycle time, on-time payment rate) for Finance leadership
- Identify and lead process-improvement and automation initiatives (e.g., AP automation/OCR tools) as transaction volume scales
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policy, and applicable U.S. tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills; comfort working with high transaction volumes and multiple vendor currencies
- Strong leadership, vendor-management, and cross-functional communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, scaling manufacturing environment
Preferred
- CPA or CMA
- Experience with SOX compliance in a public, private-equity-backed, or multinational parent-company environment
- Experience with international vendor payments or multinational supply chains
