Full Job Description

Ourisman Mazda VW is hiring for an experienced body technician. This is not an apprentice position. If you have 4 years experience in collision repair, we want to speak with you! This is a busy collision center that will be a great opportunity for a dedicated and hard worker. Come see why Ourisman is the BEST!

Body Shop Technician Responsibilities:

Determine and repair damaged parts
Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
Document all repairs performed
Document all materials used
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Follow all company safety procedures
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste

Body Shop Technician Requirements:

3+ years of Body Shop experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Past dealership experience required
Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
iCar Certification

Summary

As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs and vehicle maintenance. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, your core skills in mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and auto body repair will be essential in restoring vehicles to their optimal condition. Your premium skills in MIG welding and fabrication, along with relevant experience in auto painting and customer service, will enhance our team's efficiency and customer satisfaction. A high school diploma or GED, along with strong organizational and communication skills, is required to thrive in this role within our dealership environment.
