Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of piping systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site. The Pipelayer will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, sewage, and other utilities.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems.
Operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
Utilize pipe lasers for precise alignment and grading of pipes.
Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed during installation.
Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during installation.
Conduct regular inspections of installed pipes to ensure functionality and safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction fields.
Proficient in operating heavy machinery including loaders and bulldozers.
Familiarity with pipe laser technology for accurate installations.
Strong skills in concrete forming and finishing techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
