Job Summary

Mind Body Connection, Inc. and the Center for Health Integration is seeking a licensed Psychologist or LCSW to provide on-site outpatient therapy in Warrenton, VA. This independent contractor role serves individuals, couples, and families in a collaborative, evidence-based private-practice setting. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering evidence-based interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and supporting clients of all ages with a wide range of mental health needs. You will play a vital role in fostering positive change and resilience in individuals facing various psychological challenges, from developmental disorders to trauma-related conditions. This position provides flexible scheduling options and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Duties

Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and individual psychological testing, to inform treatment planning.
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and autism spectrum disorders support tailored to each client’s needs.
Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and monitor progress through ongoing patient assessments.
Offer crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders.
Maintain detailed and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, outpatient, school, or telehealth settings to coordinate comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families in an on-site clinical setting.
Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized treatment planning.
Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and integrative interventions tailored to client goals, clinical presentation, and readiness for change.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide relationship counseling and support clients with interpersonal, family, and life-transition concerns.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
When applicable, administer or contribute to psychological testing, assessment interpretation, feedback, and report writing.
Coordinate care with healthcare providers, referral sources, and community resources when appropriate.
Participate in team meetings, case consultation, and collaborative care planning while maintaining contractor autonomy.
Uphold ethical, legal, confidentiality, and professional standards.
Pursue opportunities for growth, including providing supervision to rising clinicians if qualified and interested.

Qualifications

Current, active Virginia license as a psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker; candidates eligible for Virginia licensure may also be considered.
Master’s or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
Strong foundation in mental health, clinical theory, and evidence-based practice.
Experience with treatment planning, case management, and continuity of care.
· Experience working with individuals, couples, and families, including relationship concerns.
Strong interpersonal, communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.
Commitment to confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical practice.
Comfort working on-site with diverse client populations in a collaborative practice setting.
Basic proficiency with electronic health records.
Ability to work independently, manage a clinical caseload of at least 15 clients per week, and exercise sound professional judgment.
Ability to maintain required professional liability insurance, credentialing materials, and any documentation necessary for independent contractor practice.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT-informed care, trauma-informed therapy, family systems approaches, or other integrative interventions.
Experience with psychological testing, assessment interpretation, feedback sessions, and report writing is a plus.
Experience in an integrated or collaborative healthcare environment.
Interest in professional growth, clinical leadership, and future supervision opportunities.
