Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have a solid understanding of various areas of law, including Family Law, Estate Planning, and Criminal Law. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys with their case management and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal office.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to attorneys by managing schedules, organizing files, and preparing legal documents.
Assist in the litigation process by drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
Ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Paralegal or in a similar administrative role within an office setting.
A Bachelor's Degree or experience as an administrative assistant or Paralegal is preferred.
Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail.
Experience using legal software is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
