Full Job Description

Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives and support their growth as a contract Occupational Therapist working with local schools near Wausau, WI. This opportunity provides a platform to contribute your expertise through in-person, home health, and teletherapy services, offering a broad and rewarding professional experience.

Ideal candidates will possess:

Valid Occupational Therapy licensure and registration in Wisconsin
Experience delivering school-based OT services, including assessment and intervention planning
Familiarity with home health and teletherapy OT practices
Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
Commitment to fostering independence, participation, and well-being in diverse student populations
Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and individualized education program (IEP) requirements

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments and developing individualized therapy goals in line with IEP mandates and best practices
Delivering occupational therapy interventions in a variety of settings, both in-person and remotely, to address students’ academic, functional, and developmental needs
Engaging with families and school staff to support generalization of skills and provide education or training as needed
Maintaining accurate records, timely documentation, and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered environment
