Full Job Description

Job Summary
Bridge Street Mission seeks to employ full and/or part-time Shelter Care Staff in the Emergency Shelter. The Emergency Shelter serves up to 69 men and women who are experiencing homelessness in safe and dignified shelter. An accountability program that incentivizes participation in case management through the Outreach Center is being developed. Resident Care Staff provide encouragement, accountability and a security presence along with some housekeeping. The preferred candidate will have a heart of compassion, de-escalation training, and demonstrate strong understanding of clients experiencing homelessness and addictions.

Bridge Street Mission is a 501(c)(3) Christian non-profit charity providing Christ-centered help to those in need with an emphasis on life transformation for individuals experiencing homelessness, addictions and hunger. As a non-profit religious organization, the government recognizes our right to hire or not hire based on religious beliefs and lifestyles.
