Full Job Description

AGRA Industries is hiring experienced Welder/Fabricators for 1st shift in Merrill, WI. This full-time position offers a 4-day workweek, strong starting pay, no-deductible health insurance, steady year-round work, and custom fabrication projects with variety.

Qualifications

MIG and/or Flux-core welding experience
Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
Fabrication experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of weld quality standards and discontinuities preferred

Benefits

4-day workweek: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Starting pay: $23–$28/hour, based on experience ($1.60 premium for 2nd shift)

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and Flux-core welding on custom fabrication projects
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Layout, fit, and assemble fabricated components
Inspect welds for quality and identify weld defects or discontinuities
Work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
