Full Job Description

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (Structural Steel Fabrication)

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

Compensation: $23 - $30/hr (Full Time; First Shift)

Company Overview:

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Steel Fabricator in the Milwaukee area on their search for a CNC Machine Operator to support structural steel fabrication operations. This organization specializes in structural steel and miscellaneous metals for large-scale commercial and industrial projects and has built a strong reputation for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Role Summary:

The CNC Machine Operator will be responsible for operating Python and other CNC-controlled steel processing equipment used in the fabrication of structural steel components. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring materials are processed accurately and efficiently to support production schedules.

Project Types: Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals

Job Responsibilities:

Operate Python and other CNC steel processing equipment
Review production schedules and work orders to prioritize workflow
Load, position, and process structural steel materials
Verify dimensions and tolerances according to shop drawings and specifications
Perform routine machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor operational issues
Maintain accurate production records and material tracking
Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and shop personnel to support production flow
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times

Qualifications/Requirements:

1+ years of CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment
Experience operating Python, beam lines, drill lines, or similar steel processing equipment preferred
Ability to read shop drawings and fabrication documents
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Willingness to work overtime as required
Ability to pass background/drug screen
