Full Job Description

Job Summary: Guard and Grace is seeking a part time Pastry Prep Cook to assist with daily bread production, ice cream/sorbet production, batch prepping of cookies for multiple locations, consistent production of core menu desserts as well as rotating specials.

About TAG: Tag Restaurants are all about food, wine, hospitality, and service from around the world shared and enjoyed with friends and family. Chef/Owner Troy Guard currently operates 13 restaurants in the Denver, Fort Collins, and Houston markets. Troy and his executive team are creating a group with a culture; a group where we get to show enthusiasm for all the little dark corners out there to be explored in the world of cuisine, cocktails, wine, and service. There will be high expectations, great rewards, and quite a bit of work to do in this exploration.

Expectations for this position:

Responsibilities: Assisting with daily bread production, ice cream/sorbet production, batch prepping of cookies for multiple locations, consistent production of core menu desserts as well as rotating specials.
Assisting in preparing daily pars for PM service.
Ensuring prep recipes are produced to exact standards.
Self starter/ High level of independence and problem solving.
Bread production experience is a plus but not necessarily required.
1-2 years of direct pastry experience preferred. Relevant degree/certification preferred but not required.

Pay rate : $18 to $22 plus EAGS.
