Full Job Description

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Cornhusker Auto Center Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team to manage the accounting department and perform a variety of tasks related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting and work closely with the service advisors and service booker/cashier(s).

Responsibilities:

Manage and process Accounts Payable invoices/payments including reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Manager the Accounts Receivables and generate/distribute customer accounts receivable statements as well as oversee and process/post remittance payments
Manager/review daily cash flow reporting
Book vehicle packets
Prepare and submit Form-10, P&L and Balance Sheet/Financials to be submitted to corporate entities each month and/or year-end.
Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned, including but not limited to booking service repair orders and provide customer service as cashier as needed

Requirements:

Associates Degree in Accounting or 5-years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
