Position Objective

We are seeking an Account Executive to serve as the trusted technical partner for our premier aggregate and mining clients throughout the state of Georgia. Tasked with managing an established territory, you will bridge long-standing historical trust with an aggressive strategy for revenue growth.

You will be the face of ISSI for industry giants like Vulcan, Heidelberg, and Martin Marietta. This is not a commodity sales position; you will be delivering custom engineered solutions that eliminate costly downtime.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account Management & Growth

Territory Expansion: Execute a strategic plan to grow the existing book of business.

Technical Field Consultation

On-Site Diagnostics: Conduct regular "conveyor walks" and equipment audits to identify early signs of wear, misalignment, or heat issues in gearboxes and bearings before they cause a shutdown.
Engineered Troubleshooting: Apply mechanical knowledge to solve specific operational challenges, such as recommending condition-monitoring sensors or specific bearing types for high-debris environments.
Vendor Liaison: Partner with manufacturer representatives to bring specialized technical expertise directly to the customer’s site for complex installations.

Relational Presence & Branch Coordination

Multi-Level Relationship Building: Navigate the unique hierarchy of a quarry—maintaining high-level trust with Plant Managers while being a "boots-on-the-ground" partner to Maintenance Foremen and Scale House operators.
The "Every Tuesday" Cadence: Maintain a disciplined, proactive visitation schedule to ensure ISSI is the first and only call a plant manager makes when critical equipment fails.
Inside Sales Coordination: Work in lockstep with our Braselton, GA branch support team to ensure order accuracy, lead-time transparency, and seamless logistics.

Skills & Experience Needed

Experience: 3+ years of Outside Sales experience, with at least 2+ years working in Mining, Aggregate, or heavy Manufacturing.
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Mechanical Aptitude: A strong, hands-on mechanical background is essential (e.g., understanding ratios, bearings, and power transmission).
