Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Role Summary

We are seeking a CNC Programmer / Production Control (CNC Nesting Planner) to assist with manufacturing tasks within our high-speed welding and fabrication facility. This role is essential for managing production schedules, assisting with CNC programming, planning jobs, optimizing material usage, and organizing workflows to keep our CNC plasma table running smoothly throughout all shifts.

Primary Duties

Develop and oversee the daily nesting strategy for the CNC plasma table.
Organize production tasks and schedules by utilizing email, spreadsheets, and various planning software.
Prepare and import files to facilitate uninterrupted machine performance.
Optimize material usage by ensuring correct routing and selecting appropriate stock sizes.
Streamline production priorities to help boost operational efficiency across all shifts.
Collaborate with the Purchasing and Quality Control teams to track job progress and material usage.
Keep a steady flow of nested work orders to ensure the CNC machinery remains productive.
Assist in the broader coordination of fabrication workflows and production control.

Essential Requirements

Expertise in AutoCAD.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and email communication capabilities.
Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
Capacity to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving manufacturing setting.

Desired Qualifications

Background in CNC nesting software.
Experience within production planning, welding, metal fabrication, or manufacturing sectors.
