What You'll Do
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience through personalized eyewear consultations.
- Accurately dispense, fit, adjust, and troubleshoot prescription eyewear.
- Recommend premium lens technologies, coatings, and multiple-pair solutions that improve patients' vision and lifestyle.
- Interpret prescriptions and ensure eyewear is fabricated accurately.
- Perform precise optical measurements, including PD, OC, segment heights, vertex distance, pantoscopic tilt, and wrap measurements.
- Verify completed eyewear for accuracy and quality before dispensing.
- Educate patients on lens options, frame materials, warranties, and proper eyewear care.
- Assist patients with repairs, adjustments, and warranty claims.
- Manage optical orders and communicate proactively with patients regarding order status.
- Maintain an organized, attractive optical dispensary and merchandising displays.
- Collaborate closely with doctors and teammates to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Mentor and support Apprentice Opticians and Optical Sales Associates as they develop their skills.
- Help achieve practice goals through exceptional service, patient education, and ethical sales.

Qualifications
- Current Washington State Dispensing Optician License (Required).
- ABO and/or NCLE certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of optical dispensing experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic health records and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong computer and mathematical skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel between our Wenatchee, Chelan, and Leavenworth locations as needed.
- Availability Monday through Friday.
