Overview

Concrete subcontractor seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to support our estimating and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating Support: Reach out to vendors to gather accurate, timely pricing on materials (ready-mix, rebar, lumber, tools) to assist our estimating team with competitive project bids.
Freight & Logistics: Coordinate and track inbound/outbound freight shipments, ensuring materials arrive at job sites on time and within budget.
Purchasing Assistance: Support the purchasing department with issuing purchase orders (POs), verifying invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Data Management: Maintain an updated database of material costs, supplier lead times, and freight rates.

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction (specifically concrete) is highly preferred but not required.
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities—you’ll be juggling multiple project timelines at once.
Proficiency with basic spreadsheet software (Excel/Google Sheets); experience with construction estimating is a plus.
Clear, professional communication skills for phone and email outreach.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
