Full Job Description

General Job Description: An individual with the role of Accounting/Human Resources completes basic accounting tasks associated with accounts payable, payroll, and monthly reports. They provide assistance to employees including onboarding, setting up accounts, and benefit enrollment. This individual also maintains compliance with agency EHR and billing software.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

· Detail oriented

· Knowledge of basic Accounting principles and the ability to learn and adapt to various systems

· Knowledge of basic accounting software including QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is preferred

· Ability to communicate in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

· Employee onboarding including new hire paperwork, benefits education, and required BCI verifications

· Set up and termination of staff accounts (e.g. email, billing software, and EMR)

· Personnel file maintenance and annual file requirements tracking

· Accounts payable entry and maintenance according to accounting principles

· Monthly revenue and expense reconciliation and reporting

· Semimonthly payroll review and distribution

· Payment deposits and applicable documentation entry

· Weekly purchasing and fulfillment of office supply requests

· Efficient coordination of basic IT related requests

· Ensure HIPAA hi-tech compliance

· Monthly insurance, Medicaid billing when applicable

· Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements: Normal office conditions

Pay: $23.79 - $28.65 per hour
