Position Summary:
As the core engine of factory supply chain operations, the PMC Manager leads the PMC team to ensure manufacturing continuity and honor customer delivery commitments. This is achieved through precise demand forecasting, master production scheduling, proactive procurement execution, and strategic inventory level management.
The ideal candidate must possess hands-on expertise in integrating and managing the three core pillars—Planning, Procurement, and Inventory Control—within a large-scale Battery, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or high-tech ODM/OEM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Planning Management
-
Master Scheduling & MRP Execution: Lead the formulation and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP), aligning production capacity and material availability with sales forecasts and customer orders.
-
NPI to Mass Production Ramp: Oversee end-to-end production scheduling from New Product Introduction (NPI) to Mass Production (MP). Coordinate across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure 100% Clear-to-Build (CTB) readiness during trial runs and ramp-up phases.

S&OP & Change Management: Drive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) alignment. Respond swiftly to customer demand fluctuations and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), adjusting production plans dynamically to minimize schedule impact.
Procurement & Supplier Management

Strategic Sourcing Execution: Oversee procurement functions for critical components (e.g., Polymer films, adhesives, Copper foils for Battery, PCB/semiconductor components). Formulate purchasing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and manage purchase order (PO) lifecycles.
-
Supplier Delivery & Risk Mitigation: Monitor supplier delivery performance (OTD). Address supply bottlenecks, lead-time delays, and expedite/defer requests (Pull-in / Push-out) by establishing proactive risk buffers.
Inventory & Material Control

Inventory Health & Strategy: Maintain overall inventory health by defining tailored inventory strategies (e.g., Safety Stock logic, Min/Max levels, VMI programs), balancing material availability against working capital optimization.
-
E&O & Aging Inventory Control: Track excess and obsolete (E&O) and aging stock. Drive cross-functional disposition actions (re-use, return, scrap) to reduce inventory write-downs.
-
ERP Data Integrity: Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Eci-MAX, SAP MM/PP modules) for inventory data analytics, consistently improving Inventory Turnover Rates and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) accuracy.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Team Development: Mentor and manage the PMC team (including Planners and Material Control Specialists), setting clear KPIs and career growth pathways.
-
Stakeholder Interface: Act as the key operational interface bridging external clients and suppliers with internal Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to resolve critical supply chain bottlenecks.
