Our services include remote and on-site support, IT service management, cloud services management, and ongoing technology support for the businesses we serve.
We have multiple offices and a hybrid office/remote workforce. Team members are provided with the technology needed to work effectively from home when appropriate. Our main office is located in Napoleon, OH, with satellite offices in Findlay, Defiance, and Sylvania coming soon.
Position Overview
We are looking for an entry-level IT Analyst to join our Service Desk team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in IT support and wants to continue growing in one or more technical areas, including Systems, Cloud, or Networking.
The right candidate does not need to be an expert in every category. We are looking for someone who has a solid technical foundation, good troubleshooting instincts, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Our Service Desk team members provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 hardware and software support, both remotely and on-site at client locations. This position assists users with the proper use of computer systems, software applications, and information technology business processes while helping resolve issues and complete change requests.
Responsibilities
General IT Support
- Provide end-user support for common technical issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows workstation problems.
- Assist with software installation and software-related troubleshooting.
- Support users with login, access, and basic account issues.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, server, and computer issues in Windows environments.
- Complete service requests and change requests for client environments.
- Document work clearly and follow internal processes.
- Build strong relationships with the companies we support.
- Travel to various client locations, typically one hour or less away.
- Work as part of a team with one goal: making our clients happy.
- Stay willing to learn new technology and grow with the industries we service.
- Perform other duties as required.
Systems Analyst Focus
Candidates with a Systems focus may assist with:
- Managing user accounts and group memberships.
- Troubleshooting Windows operating system issues.
- Supporting software issues and application access.
- Assisting users with workstation, printer, and general desktop support.
- Helping maintain accurate documentation for systems-related tasks.
Cloud Analyst Focus
Candidates with a Cloud focus may assist with:
- Troubleshooting OneDrive sync issues.
- Troubleshooting SharePoint sync and access issues.
- Installing and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop client access.
- Assisting with MFA setup and troubleshooting.
- Performing password resets and basic Microsoft 365 account support.
- Helping users understand cloud-based file access and collaboration tools.
Network Analyst Focus
Candidates with a Networking focus may assist with:
- Resetting PoE ports for phones, wireless access points, cameras, and other devices.
- Assisting with VLAN changes under guidance.
- Creating or updating DHCP reservations.
- Performing basic network troubleshooting.
- Helping identify connectivity issues for wired and wireless devices.
- Escalating more advanced routing, switching, firewall, or server issues when needed.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of Windows desktop support.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services such as OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and MFA.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addresses, DHCP, VLANs, DNS, and PoE.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems logically and ask good questions.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow documented processes.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Professional communication skills when working with clients and internal team members.
Nice to Have
- Help desk, internship, homelab, school, or personal IT experience.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 admin tasks.
- Experience with basic switch, firewall, or wireless troubleshooting.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications.
- Experience documenting technical steps or troubleshooting notes.
