Full Job Description

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Level Structural Engineer with at least 3 to 10 years of experience in a consulting firm and has been involved with all aspects of design, planning, construction and construction administration. The successful candidate may be required to travel for inspection and monitoring of project sites 15 - 20% travel is expected.

Qualification/Skill Requirements:

Structural design of structures using software such as Revit and AutoCAD in conjunction with STAAD Pro, and ETABS.
Reviewing and commenting on design documents, including performing constructability reviews; reviewing and approving reports and construction-phase documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, building codes, and all other related regulations and applicable industry standards.
Will be responsible for preparation of proposals, studies, reports, specifications, plans, schedules, construction estimates, and final design packages on structural projects.
Meet with client during the term of a project to resolve issues and to obtain approvals at the project’s completion.
Collaborate with other office staff and construction personnel concerning design standards and constructability as related to field conditions such as scheduling, submittals, O&Ms, contract modifications.
Will be a responsible for developing detailed design documents for projects.
Strong spreadsheet, database knowledge and project management background.
Ability to conduct meetings and presentations with associates from all levels of management.

Additional Information: Candidate must be able to legally and lawfully work in the United States without any kind of Visa Sponsorship Requirement.

Must Have:

Bachelor’s in Structural / Civil / Mechanical Engineering field of study with a focus in Structural Engineering or related field.
Experience with Revit and associated addons
Excellent oral, written and communication skills
