About Us

Hazzouri Accounting & Tax Inc. is a growing CPA firm serving individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and trusts. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team and support a diverse client base.

Position Summary

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping for multiple clients, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with payroll and sales tax compliance.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients
Record and classify financial transactions
Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Process payroll and payroll tax filings
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Assist with year-end close and tax return preparation
Communicate with clients regarding financial records and missing information
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience
Full Charge Bookkeeper experience preferred
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
Experience with payroll processing and sales tax reporting
Understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
