Full Job Description

Contract: 3 Months to long-term

Shift: 7:00AM -7:00PM

Job Description for Registered Nurse:-

Provide acute psychiatric nursing care, with a minimum of one year of psychiatric nursing experience, and maintain an active West Virginia RN license in good standing.
Oversee and coordinate the work of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while participating in treatment team meetings and developing individualized treatment plans.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient conditions, manage medical emergencies, and communicate with physicians to meet patient care needs.
Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records, respond appropriately to families and advocates while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and testify in court or commitment hearings when required.
Deliver all nursing services in accordance with facility policies, procedures, applicable laws, and the required professional standard of care.

Requirements:

WV State RN license
BLS/CPR certification
At least 1 year of recent psych experience
