This position supervises security operations throughout the campus. General direction is received from the Chief of Security.

Requirements for this position include the following experience or equivalent combination of education and experience:

Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma equivalent
-
Five (5) years of security experience in a multi-function industrial, commercial, or governmental facility of a progressively responsible nature

Two (2) years of supervisory experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and maintain in good standing, a valid Illinois driver’s license and a valid Firearm Owners Identification Card (FOID)
The preferred candidate will have experience with digital cameras and technical security (closed circuit television systems campus-wide (CCTV) and access control system.
A pre-employment background check is required.
