Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will ensure exceptional food quality, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and foster a positive, team-focused environment. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about food service management to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Supervise all kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring smooth shift operations and high-quality food production
Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards across all menu items
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Implement and enforce food safety standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
Train staff on food handling techniques, customer service excellence, and safety procedures to foster a skilled and motivated team
Coordinate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery during busy hours and special events such as banquets or catering

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong kitchen management skills
Demonstrated expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary operations
Prior supervisory experience managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting
Knowledge of food safety management practices and compliance with health regulations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff effectively
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
