Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a brilliant and multifaceted Sales Manager to join our team, managing the full sales lifecycle for our Prepress equipment. The Sales Manager – Prepress – Americas will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to increase company market share for prepress equipment in the Americas, with a clear focus on US & Canada. This position requires expert knowledge in the field of flexographic printing, as well as proven expertise in sales within the flexographic industry.

Key Responsibilities

Meet yearly sales targets selling the entire Prepress Product Line – both breadth and depth in accounts – while spotting & supporting sales of the entire company product portfolio (plates, sleeves, adapters, and related services)
Build, maintain, and oversee all aspects of customer relationships including sales, forecasting, and technical support
Find and develop new customers in the region to strengthen the customer base, aligning with both equipment sales budget and plates sales teams
Support the sale of “bundle deals” to direct customers in the region, highlighting the company as a solution provider for Plates, Prepress Equipment, and other related services
Be accountable to increase the revenue from service contracts in the territory
Effectively interact with customers and internal functional groups
Create and maintain records and data in designated CRM systems
Coordinate Sales Process of equipment and software with Americas Sales Teams

Requirements

Must possess excellent sales skills and at least five years of experience in technical sales
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
In-depth knowledge of laser imagers, prepress software & workflows as well as plate processing equipment in particular and of flexographic wide-web flexible and corrugated packaging printing and other print disciplines
Must be able to travel to customer locations throughout the Americas. Extensive travel required, with a minimum of 2-3 travel days per week on average
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to interact effectively with customers, internal customer service teams, technical service teams, management, and sales teams
Good written and verbal communication skills
Reporting skills using database, spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software
Must by highly motivated, proactive, and self-directed
Candidate must reside in the US, ideally in the Midwest.
Candidate must have the ability to reliably work remotely/telecommute
Due to travel requirements, the ideal candidate will leave close to a major airport
