Security Officer - Armed (Pennsylvania - VetForce Inc)
The Armed Security Officer is tasked with conducting protection for a large client in the Jersey Shore, PA area. This role will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality support directly to the client and staff, as well as safeguarding client assets. Officers must work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and be able to at times work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities. Armed Security Officers are expected to competently respond to any situation that may arise while supporting the client, and actively support the organization’s mission. Third shift (12am-8am)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Must Safeguard All Assets. (Assets Can Include Marijuana & Cash)
Static Operations
Reports to leadership with detailed updates and information.
Safeguards and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
Conducts ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments.
Conducts protective advance operations.
Perform Counter Surveillance during operations.
Follow company and client-directed SOP’s.
Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
Maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance.
Monitor Surveillance Cameras
Conduct Mobile and/or Foot Patrols
Conducting Searches of Persons and/or Belongings
Requirements:

Requirements:
Current ACT 235 (must be able to obtain).
Current PA Concealed Carry.
2 years or more of experience in armed security operations or prior military experience.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Must be on time, prompt, and honor regularly assigned work schedules.
Military Experience preferred – Honorably Discharged, preferably within (Combat Arms based MOS, or Special Operations). DD – 214 is required
Ability to work autonomously.
Have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Possess a valid and current driver's license
Must be at least 21 years of age
Operations:
- Any and all prior training certificates, military credentials, law enforcement credentials, and education documents will be required to be produced in order to be considered for the position.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
