Full Job Description

Position Summary

Serves adult or children with wellness programming. Position varies by division (Works, Rewards, Center) with main variable being the audience served adult or child, ECU Health employees / Industry employees / General Community, Children's Weight management/Children's programming, etc.
This position creates and implements programs and curriculum for the target audience.

Minimum Requirements

College Degree (4 yrs.) in Exercise Physiology, Health Education, Nutrition or related preferred.
Related Master's degree can substitute for one year work-related experience.
1 year experience required in Community, Corporate, Hospital or Private based Wellness, Fitness, and Health Promotion settings
CPR certification required within 6 months of employment is required.
NC Driver's license required
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Pay Range

Wellness Program Specialist (PRN) hourly range > $23.52 - $34.28
Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
