Full Job Description

Role Overview: This position is responsible for managing the storage, inventory and distribution of equipment. Maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring the efficient operation and compliance of the company’s fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company’s fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulations.
Develop and implement fleet management policies, including usage, maintenance, and replacement schedules.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing, inspections, and insurance.
Manage vendor relationships for fleet maintenance.
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to forecast and meet purchasing needs.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Prepare and analyze purchasing reports, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Track inventory figures in warehouse and company work vehicles via regularly scheduled inventory counts.
Input inventory adjustments as necessary.
Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring warehouse is orderly and safe.
Manage daily shipping and receiving tasks.
Manage product returns.
Coordinate equipment rental with 3rd party vendors.
Stage Equipment for Service and Installation Projects.
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience fleet management, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy.

Work Requirements:

This position will require you to work in a warehouse and must be able to occasionally lift and move 45lbs.
Requires use of PC for brief and extended periods of time depending upon project.
