Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication and welding requirements.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join metals accurately.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape sheet metal and ductwork components.
Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools; perform basic math calculations for accurate fabrication.
Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, assembling, and welding metal components according to schematics and specifications.
Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols in accordance with ASME codes & standards and industry best practices.
Assist with pipe threading, soldering, machining, mechanical assembly, and other related tasks as needed for project completion.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Experience

Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW welding processes; familiarity with <LOCATION> welding preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, calipers, micrometers, and other fabrication equipment.
Knowledge of rigging techniques, crane operation awareness, pipe threading, ductwork installation, and mechanical assembly is highly desirable.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with safety standards such as ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication environments.
