Full Job Description

World Kia Joliet is now hiring a Receptionist / Cashier.

This position usually leads to growth within the company and a new position with more responsibility and financial opportunity.

3PM-9PM Tue - Fri, 8AM-7PM every Saturday with 1 Saturday off per month. Holidays & coverage as needed.

We are searching for a motivated Receptionist/Cashier who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities: :

Operate switchboard telephone system.
Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
Filing
Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price.

What we are looking for:

You must have a friendly voice on the phone and have experience dealing with guests.
Ability to file alphabetically.
Proficiency with computers/office equipment and strong typing skills.
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
We prefer dealership experience but will train the right candidate.

This position usually leads to something else in our office so it is a great place to start your career!

Evening and various shifts required including Saturday hours.
