MRI Tech Radiology / Cardiology – Wilmington, NC

What You’ll Do

Perform high-quality MRI scans in various areas including abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and more
Utilize advanced MRI equipment including GE and Siemens systems, surface coils, and specialized imaging techniques like diffusion, gradient echo, and image post-processing
Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Adhere to hospital protocols and documentation in EPIC system
Collaborate with clinical team to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient patient flow
Follow all safety standards and certification requirements

What You Need

Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of MRI tech experience in a hospital setting
Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI systems, surface coils, and advanced imaging techniques
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and be available for the full 13-week assignment
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations a plus

About the Assignment
This role is based at a leading hospital in Wilmington, NC, providing MRI services across adult and pediatric patient groups. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing a variety of MRI procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety, and working effectively within a fast-paced environment. Night shift hours are mandatory, and orientation will take place during the first week with full availability required.
