Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing complex legal disputes, representing clients in court proceedings, and providing strategic legal counsel across a diverse range of practice areas. Your expertise will drive successful case outcomes, support client needs, and uphold the highest standards of legal advocacy. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a meaningful impact through litigation excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation cases, including case assessment, strategy development, and trial preparation.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case arguments and stay current on procedural law updates.
Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, and discovery requests with precision and clarity.
Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials while maintaining professional courtroom decorum.
Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Coordinate with clients to gather pertinent information, provide updates on case progress, and advise on legal options.
Maintain meticulous case management records, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
Review medical records, bills, expert reports, and other evidence to support claims for damages.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required.
Proven experience in personal injury law, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of procedural law, statutory research methods, and legal motion preparation.
Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with legal case management software preferred.
Excellent writing skills for drafting motions, pleadings, and client correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to handle court depositions and trial preparation effectively.
Exceptional client communication skills with a focus on clear legal counsel delivery.
