Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Technician, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. In this energized and rewarding position, you will operate advanced ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your knowledge of women's health, vascular diagnostics, and physiology will be essential in providing comprehensive imaging services across diverse clinical settings. Duties

Operate ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including prenatal, gynecological, breast, abdominal, vascular, and echocardiography imaging
Ensure high-quality image acquisition by applying proper techniques and maintaining equipment calibration
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide detailed reports
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures
Manage patient positioning, preparation, and comfort throughout imaging sessions to optimize results
Document patient information accurately within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems and utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage and retrieval
Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Qualifications

Proven experience in sonography with proficiency in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecology diagnostics, breast ultrasound, and women's health diagnostics
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles
Skilled in operating various medical imaging equipment including vascular ultrasound devices and echocardiography machines
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and PACS for efficient documentation and image management
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams
Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety standards during all procedures
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory depending on regional licensing requirements
