About Circle of Care
Circle of Care is a Central Florida organization dedicated to serving children, teens, and adults with Level 3 severe autism through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and integrated care. The organization is building a physical ABA clinic alongside its current in-home program, with plans to open a residential group home program, with a shared commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, whole-person support.
The work is grounded in clinical integrity, ethical practice, and a genuine investment in the people and families served. Circle of Care is hiring a founding-level Executive Director to lead both clinical and operational functions as the organization launches and grows.
Position Summary
Circle of Care focuses on individuals with Level 3 severe autism. The Executive Director possesses a leadership approach geared toward the community, providing senior clinical leadership and organizational oversight across Circle of Care’s ABA services. This is a dual-mandate role: the Executive Director will hold responsibility for clinical quality and compliance as the organization’s licensed clinical leader, while also directing operations, staffing, and the day-to-day business of a growing organization.
The role is ideal for a clinical leader who wants to help shape an organization from the ground up and integrate multiple disciplines under one cohesive standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Serve as the organization’s licensed clinical director, ensuring all services meet professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee ABA program design, clinical quality, and supervision structures across the clinic and group home.
- Uphold the BACB Ethics Code and all applicable Florida clinical and licensure requirements.
Operations & Administration
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the clinic and group home, including scheduling, workflows, and facilities readiness ahead of clinic launch.
- Develop and manage operational policies, procedures, and systems that support quality and scale.
- Partner with ownership and leadership on budgeting, resource planning, and organizational strategy.
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure the organization meets all Florida health, and safety requirements for both outpatient ABA services and residential care.
- Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, and payer credentialing.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, and mandated-reporting obligations under Florida law.
People & Team
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and develop clinical and operational staff, including BCBAs, RBTs, and program personnel.
- Build a positive, mentorship-oriented culture aligned with Circle of Care’s mission and values.
- Provide supervision and professional development consistent with credentialing requirements.
Growth & Community
- Support the organization’s expansion, including the clinic launch and ongoing development of the group home program.
- Build relationships with families, referral sources, payers, and community partners.
- Represent Circle of Care professionally across the Central Florida care community.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- Experience in a clinical leadership, program director, or supervisory role, preferably within ABA, behavioral health, or a related care setting.
- Working knowledge of Florida regulatory and licensing requirements for clinical and/or residential care programs.
- Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience launching or scaling a clinic, ABA practice, or residential care program.
- Familiarity with payer credentialing, insurance authorization, and reimbursement processes.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.
- Background in both outpatient and residential/group home settings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly: $45-$75 per hour, depending on credentials, experience, and scope of clinical and operational responsibilities.
- This compensation band considers not only traditional BCBA but also candidates who who are functioning in a senior clinical leadership role.
- This is ultimately intended to be a full-time leadership role; however, the position will begin on a part-time basis during clinic and group-home ramp-up, with a planned transition to full-time as programs, census, staffing, and operations reach agreed-upon milestones.
- During the initial ramp-up phase, compensation will be paid hourly. Upon transition to full-time, the role is expected to convert to a salaried structure with benefits eligibility and potential performance-based incentives.

Location & Schedule
- On-site in Central Florida (Orlando area), with in-home work as necessary.
- Founding-level role beginning part-time during launch and ramp-up, with a path to full-time as the organization scales.
- Some schedule flexibility is required to support clinic launch and group home operations.
