Schedule
- 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
- 12-hour shifts
- Day: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Night: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Includes weekends and holidays
- Rotating biweekly schedule
Position Overview
CCHCF is seeking experienced Dual Modality CT/X-Ray Technologists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services within a fast-paced hospital radiology department. This role supports both CT and general radiography across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings within the Navajo IHS Service Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans, X-rays, fluoroscopy, and advanced imaging procedures
- Operate imaging equipment including C-arm and contrast studies
- Perform IV access and administer contrast when required
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for imaging procedures
- Assist radiologists with complex diagnostic studies
- Respond to emergency situations and initiate CPR if needed
- Maintain imaging logs, QC documentation, and equipment records
- Ensure compliance with ARRT, Joint Commission, CMS, and IHS standards
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic systems
Minimum Requirements
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (XR)
- Minimum 12 months CT/Radiology experience
- No more than 6-month employment gap prior to start
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer literacy
Required Certifications
- ARRT (CT and Radiography)
- BLS / CPR Certification
- Valid Driver’s License (if required)
Preferred Experience
- Hospital-based imaging experience
- Emergency or trauma imaging exposure
- Rural or IHS healthcare experience
Contract Details
- Base Period: 3 months
- Up to 7 option periods (3 months each)
- Total potential duration: 24 months
- Credentialing + background checks required prior to start
- Replacement required within 5 days if needed
