Full Job Description

Job Title: Material Manager – Manufacturing (Turnkey Operator)

Location: Greeley Colorado
Company: Bentley Mission Critical

We don’t babysit. We don’t train basics. We hire people who already know how to win.

We are looking for a Material Manager who owns the entire material flow—from the moment a truck hits the gate to the second material is in the hands of the tradesman on the shop floor.

This is not a coordinator role. This is a turnkey operator who builds order out of chaos, drives execution, and ensures production never stops due to material failure.

What You Own

You are accountable for 100% of material readiness across the operation:

Receiving & ERP Control
Ensure all incoming materials are received, verified, and transacted in the ERP same day
Absolute accuracy on counts, heat numbers, and documentation
No material enters the system without being visible and traceable
Material Flow & Staging
Drive material from yard → warehouse → staging → production with zero confusion
Stage materials one day ahead of production needs (non-negotiable)
Eliminate downtime caused by missing, misplaced, or late material
Kitting & Production Readiness
Build complete, accurate kits tied to the production schedule
Ensure tradesmen receive everything they need, exactly when they need it
No partial kits. No guesswork. No delays.
Saw Cutting & Prep Operations
Schedule and control the saw cutting team based on production demand
Align cut lists with the pull plan and fabrication schedule
Maintain flow—no bottlenecks, no overproduction
Inventory Management
Own inventory accuracy across all locations
Implement and maintain cycle counts, min/max levels, and Kanban systems
Eliminate excess, shortages, and write-offs
Scheduling Integration
Work directly with planning to align materials with the production schedule
Ensure material availability is never the reason we miss a deadline

Turnkey. You’ve done this before at a high level—you don’t need training

ERP Fluent. You understand how systems drive execution (not just data entry)
Production-Minded. You think like the shop—speed, flow, and zero interruptions
Accountable. If production stops because of materials, you own it

What Success Looks Like

Zero production downtime due to material issues
Materials staged and ready before they are needed
Inventory accuracy near 100%
Clean, organized yard and warehouse (5S enforced)
Saw cutting and kitting operating in sync with production
ERP reflects reality—always
