Pacific Powr is a fast-growing solar sales organization focused on helping homeowners reduce their energy costs while building high-performing sales teams across California and additional expansion markets.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and energetic Marketing Assistant who can help document our growth, strengthen our online presence, support recruiting campaigns, and promote our sales team and company culture.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, content creation, travel, fast-paced environments, and working directly with entrepreneurs and sales professionals.
Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support Pacific Powr’s daily marketing activities, including social media management, content creation, recruiting advertisements, event coverage, brand organization, and campaign execution.
Travel is preferred and may be required for company events, sales trips, team trainings, recruiting events, content shoots, and market launches.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Capture photos and videos of team meetings, sales trips, trainings, events, commission checks, awards, and company milestones.
- Create and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Turn raw footage into engaging Reels, promotional videos, team highlights, and recruiting content.
- Write captions, social media posts, job advertisements, and basic marketing copy.
- Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice across Pacific Powr’s platforms.
Social Media Management
- Maintain and update the company’s social media pages.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
- Monitor comments, direct messages, and online engagement.
- Identify trending content, sounds, formats, and marketing ideas.
- Help increase brand awareness, engagement, followers, recruiting interest, and lead generation.
Recruiting and Sales Support
- Create recruiting flyers, advertisements, videos, and social media campaigns.
- Post and update job listings on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
- Help promote sales competitions, company incentives, leadership opportunities, and team achievements.
- Organize applicant information and assist with scheduling interviews or recruiting events.
- Develop content that attracts motivated sales representatives and strengthens company culture.
Marketing Administration
- Maintain a weekly and monthly content calendar.
- Organize company photos, videos, logos, templates, and other digital assets.
- Track campaign deadlines, upcoming events, content needs, and marketing assignments.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, graphic designers, printers, and other vendors when needed.
- Provide simple weekly reports covering content performance, follower growth, engagement, recruiting activity, and marketing progress.
Travel and Event Support
- Travel with company leadership or sales teams when needed.
- Capture and post content during market launches, team trips, trainings, competitions, and company events.
- Help coordinate marketing materials, event displays, merchandise, awards, and promotional items.
- Represent Pacific Powr professionally while working with employees, sales representatives, customers, and business partners.
Qualifications
- Experience with social media, marketing, content creation, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Comfortable filming and photographing people in professional and field environments.
- Basic video-editing and graphic-design experience.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willing and able to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. The schedule may include occasional evenings, weekends, or travel days depending on company events, sales trips, content shoots, and market launches.
Compensation
Competitive hourly or salary compensation based on experience and skill level. Additional travel opportunities, performance incentives, and advancement opportunities may be available.
