Position Summary
One Source Hospitality is seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Inspector to oversee daily housekeeping operations at a hotel property in Winter Haven, Florida. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign daily workloads and communicate operational priorities to the team.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure company and hotel quality standards are met.
- Monitor room status, productivity, attendance, and completion of daily assignments.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and property standards.
- Provide coaching and corrective feedback when performance expectations are not met.
- Assist with cleaning rooms, public spaces, or completing runner responsibilities when operationally necessary.
- Ensure housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supplies are properly stocked and organized.
- Report maintenance issues, room damages, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items according to established procedures.
- Respond professionally and promptly to guest and client requests.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and operational documentation.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and attendance expectations.
- Work closely with property leadership to support staffing and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, resort, timeshare, or housekeeping experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Previous inspector, supervisor or team-lead experience is preferred.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
