Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Injection Molding Plastic Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, quality inspection, and materials handling will contribute directly to our production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and robotic systems in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Duties

Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality
Perform routine inspections of molds, machines, and finished parts using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques
Adjust machine parameters based on process requirements and troubleshoot mechanical or electronic issues promptly using engineering troubleshooting skills
Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring parts meet specified measurements and quality standards
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage procedures are followed
Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and quality documentation for traceability and continuous improvement
Collaborate with maintenance teams to perform preventive maintenance on machinery such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and CNC equipment

Requirements

Proven experience operating plastics injection molding machinery or plastics extrusion processes in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC lathes, press brake machines, and robotic systems
Ability to perform precision measurements and use measurement tools for quality control purposes
Familiarity with plastics blow molding, plastics production processes, and materials handling techniques
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating tolerances, and adjusting machine settings accurately
Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and materials handling procedures
Experience with engineering troubleshooting to resolve machine or process issues efficiently
Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance
